We have learned from the years of operating our sniping service and answering our users' questions, there are frequently simple solutions to the problems you may run into when you snipe eBay. Setting Up Your Computer System
There is nothing to download or install on your computer to use our service. However, there are some settings and adjustments to your computer system that will help you get the most out of our service. You may not need to do anything to your computer as these settings are generally standard requirements for many sites on the Internet. If you are having problems with any function of our service after not having any trouble, take a moment to think what changes have been made to your system since it last worked without a problem. Have you change your Internet provider, made any security changes, added any software, etc?
These adjustments may not be on the computer hardware itself as much as the software, like your Internet browser, email program and security software.
Email Settings
If you are not receiving any emails from us, your computer system may be blocking them. If you have a spam blocker enabled on your computer, be sure it allows messages from us through.
Email verification assures you that our emails will get through and that we have your current email address. Take the time to do this so you will receive our bidding alerts and news emails if you have this option selected. Just follow the instructions on the yellow verification banner. If the banner is not at the top of the page after you have logged in, you are already verified. If you have a problem verifying your email address, it is usually because a spam blocker is stopping it, or we have the wrong address for you.
You can check it on the
Change Email form that is available by clicking the link in the upper right corner of the site. You can change it there too. Changing your email address requires you to log into your account.

Put EZ sniper in your 'Trusted Sites' by going to the TOOLS menu > INTERNET OPTIONS > SECURITY tab > TRUSTED SITES, then click the SITES button and add EZ sniper to your list of Trusted Sites.

Javascript is a small program which manages the content of our site and how it is displayed. To enable Javascript, go to your TOOLS menu > OPTIONS > CONTENT, then check the 'Enable JavaScript' box.
Cookies are a small string of script your browser remembers to help you with login and other functions on our site. To enable cookies go to your TOOLS menu > OPTIONS > PRIVACY, then on the Cookies tab, check the 'Allow sites to set Cookies' box.
Pop-ups like
'Snapper' and
'ShadowTool' are features of our service, and different browsers will treat them differently. You may need to make some adjustments to your browser settings to allow these features to work. To allow these features to work on your computer go to your TOOLS menu > OPTIONS > CONTENT, then either uncheck 'Block Popup Windows' or add EZ sniper to the list of allowed sites to provide popups.

Other Browsers
There are many internet browsers available today, and it is not possible for us to have instructions for them all. But, usually these settings are accessible through the menus of the browser and generally in the same area. The browser's help files are a good resource. In the internet settings of your browser look to see that 'Enable Javascript' is selected, and 'Allow Cookies' is permitted. Also, look in your browsers menus for terms like 'allow popups', 'enable popups', etc. You may not want to allow popups from all sites, so you should be able to specify which sites you will allow them. Enter EZ sniper in the appropriate field to allow
'Snapper' and
'ShadowTool' to pop up.
